The Swamp
The Swamp is a legendary Chinese band that melds progressive post-rock with elements of electronica. The Guangzhou natives combine HPD electronic drums, percussion, samplers and profound lyrics ¡V bringing totally new elements onto the rock stage. They offer a revolutionary breathe of fresh air to the regional music scene.
An independent spirit has always guided The Swamp: they record their own music and design all their CDs. In 1996 they started the Kaiping Music Festival ¡V which is now known as South China¡¦s leading music festival. In Hong Kong they have teamed up with the leading 89268 music label and released their first album in Hong Kong in 2004.
